Join James at this hands-on workshop and learn how to make artisan and wild-yeast sourdough breads. You’ll learn the skills and techniques of each stage of baking a naturally leavened loaf, from caring for a starter through shaping and baking. You’ll learn different styles of breadmaking to suit our busy lifestyles and schedules as well as techniques such as iron skillet pizza making.  All methods are tailored to the home baker so you can get started inexpensively and enjoy delicious bread at a fraction of the cost of your favourite store-bought loaves.    

You'll leave with your own sourdough starter, comprehensive recipes and notes, a dough scraper, dough mixing tub and your own ready-for-the-oven dough.

Spaces are limited to 8 people to create the most beneficial and interactive learning environment. 

What to bring:

We supply all that is required for this workshop.  Please feel free to bring a notebook and pen and your own apron for those messier moments!
